Ratindra Das gave his congratulations to everyone who entered the show because they had the courage to just enter. He reminded us that one person’s opinion doesn’t mean anything and to continue to enter shows no matter whether or not you are accepted. He felt all the artists accepted into Watermedia were able to show their vision with all of us. Art has two lives, private in the artist’s studio and another public life in the gallery. Ratindra feels a personal connection to MTWS and Watermedia because his first national show award was the MTWS President Award 15 years ago. He said that any of the paintings in the show have what you look for in a painting and that any of the award winners are ready to move to the next level in entering shows.
